I had a wonderful career as senior program manager at Microsoft as well as a fulfilling experience volunteering on the Board of Directors of Viet Nam Scholarship Foundation. However, becoming an entrepreneur was my ultimate dream! Running my own retail coffee shop and now my consulting firm, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned. My mission is to help small businesses, start-ups and non-profits dare to dream big and make those dreams a reality!
As a program manager, I had a successful track record of leading teams to deliver the right experience to customers on time and within budget. Working for large companies like MSFT means the bottom line is hardly anything you need to worry about. It’s my experience on the board of small non-profit that taught me how to run an organization on a shoe string budget. You learn to get creative. Between both experiences, I learned how to manage everything from strategic planning and organizational restructuring to program design & evaluation to budgeting & financial management.
Disenchanted with corporate life, I took the plunge to become an entrepreneur. I owned a local coffee shop for a few years and as a small business owner, I managed everything from payroll, taxes, bookkeeping, B2B relationships, HR and hiring, e-commerce and marketing. It was an invigorating experience to be sure. I learned so much more running my own company than I could have simply being employed at one.
I’m constantly striving to learn and add new skills and services to my consulting firm. We want to be your one-stop shop for all your consulting needs. Now as a licensed real estate broker, I can help you find the right commercial or residential space. I work with a team of brokers and together we can help you find retail space, real estate investment opportunities, and of course help you and your staff buy or sell your own home!
